Job Description
- Total Experience Required : 6 – 9 years
- Engineering Graduate with 6 to 9 years relevant experience in network design and optimization.
- Hands-on working experience in 2G/3G/LTE Optimization is must with NSN skill set.
- Experience in L3 analyzing. Knowledge on post processing and analysis tool (TEMS, NEMO, Actix or equivalent).
- Should be familiar with NSN OSS tools, reporting solution, counters & parameters and Feature implementation for 2G/3G/LTE networks.
- Knowledge of radio network design, planning for UMTS including nominal Cell Plan, traffic simulations, Scrambling code planning, dimensioning, capacity planning and capacity expansion plan based on traffic forecast for short term and long term. Knowledge of RF design fundamentals, RF propagation behavior and Model Tuning.
- Solid understanding of 2G/3G/LTE Network Optimization and Network Performance principles. Knowledge of 2G/3G/HSPA/LTE radio network optimization and audit process which includes configuration audits, parameters audit, radio capacity assessment and post processing of drive tests log files and Layer 3 analysis.
- Knowledge in routine review of radio network Key Performance Indicators (KPI) such as CS/PS drop call, CE Utilization/Blocking, Code utilization, Handover, RAB setup success rate and call setup success rate, data throughput and QoS etc. Database parameter settings analysis and creatively apply engineering principles to make appropriate database parameter changes/tuning, and even new feature implementation to maximize the total network performance and quality in order to meet customer objectives and targets.
- KPI definition, Multi layer tuning, traffic forecasting, Parameter tuning, Data optimization knowledge.
- E2E approach on issue handling (Cross functional knowledge), Hands on experience on ICSU analyzing will be value added.
- Knowledge on process definition, high level design and low level design doc preparation.
- Test case preparation, FOA,POC, KNOW HOW on field trials knowledge will be value added.
- Team competence development by delivering appropriate technical trainings to the team.
